And the Final is in....

We went to see Dr. Yoon this morning at 9. Best things first-The final pathology report was unchanged and still said that they DID get all of the cancer AND--there were NO CANCER CELLS in the lymph nodes! This is icing on the cake! Dr. Yoon was very happy with the healing progress that Bobby is making. He said that the swelling will slowly improve but that it is something that has to be lived with for now. We mentioned that we've had to "help" it drain a little when it becomes intolerable. He reminded us (duhhhh) that there is a huge "vein" under there. Yes, we've avoided poking at veins & arteries. So, I'll help Bobby deal with it. He never thought he'd be missing Darla. We don't have to go back for 2 weeks. Thank you Dr. Yoon!

Then, the best part of our day was meeting our good friends Paul & Glenna for brunch. Thank you for the meal and for a great time this morning! Bobby & I had a wonderful time (and I can speak for Paul & Glenna that they did too).
